March 12-14	Iyengar Yoga Workshop with Francois Raoult Francois's workshop is nearly filled and there is a waiting list for the 10 am classes. If you want to attend Friday evening or the afternoon classes, you need to pay for your spot by Friday morning. Do not ask to be "put on the list" - you must pre-pay. Spaces we are holding for the 10 am classes which are not paid for by Wednesday will be given to students on the waiting list who have paid for a spot... first-come, first served. Because this workshop is filled, we will not give a refund if you do not attend.			Holiday Manor
March 27	Teacher Training Exams You must be registered to take the exams! Teacher training students who have fulfilled the requirements may take the exams. You must register for the exams by phoning Laura Spaulding at the Main Office no later than March 20th. No drop-ins to the exams are allowed. The studio will open at 8:45 am. Be ready to start and have all your props in place. The first asana will be called at 9:15 am. If you register and fail to attend or arrive late, you will have to take the exams next year. Asana Exam 1: 9:15-10:30 am Be prepared to do each asana to the best of your ability, using props as appropriate for your level. Only the Sanskrit name will be given. Asana Exam 2: 11:00-12:15 pm Be prepared to demonstrate asanas using various props or no props, according to instructions. This is the teaching of one of the teachers of our tradition. The Secret Garden is a delightful children's book by Frances Hogdson Burnett. It tells a simple yet profound story of two lonely, emotionally-scarred children who find a secret garden and restore it to beauty. In doing so, they heal themselves and become whole again.
