How to Register for Classes
We don't take advance or phone registrations for classes. Come early to
your first class to register. All classes are ongoing and you
can begin anytime. Our
teachers are there to help you and answer your questions, and to
make sure you enjoy your yoga experience. New yoga students
should start with G or level 1 or 1-2 classes.

If you have never tried
yoga before, we recommend that you start with a 5 or 10 class
card. Like any other form of exercise, you should
attend classes at least three times a week for best results. How
often should you attend? That depends on you, your schedule and
your goals for yoga. Some students attend class once or twice a week, but many
students attend more frequently. Dedicated Ashtanga students
attend class six days a week. We offer a Three Month Introductory membership for
only $165. If you decide to attend more than twice a week, the Introductory
membership is the best plan - only $55 a month
for your first three months. You
can change your life in only three months.

Children
A parent or legal guardian must register all children under
age 18. Children ages 6-12 may attend any level G, 1 or 1-2
classes with a parent or legal guardian. Teenagers may attend
classes without a parent present, but a parent or legal guardian must
register the teen. Our Yoga for Kids class on Saturday at Holiday
Manor is for children ages 6-11 and the teacher prefers that parents NOT
attend with their child. A parent or legal guardian must still
register and pick up the child from class.
Seniors
Seniors 65+ can get Gentle Yoga class cards. This special rate is
only for Gentle Yoga classes.
Student Rates
Apply to full-time students ages 13-24.
Yoga
Scholarships and Reduced Rates
Yoga East's mission is to make the benefits of
yoga available to all members of the community regardless of ability to
pay for classes. We teach people who would otherwise have no access to
the benefits of yoga. Our major efforts go to funding classes with agencies who
serve people with severe financial or physical challenges such as the
homeless, refugees, shelter residents, people in recovery, at-risk
children and teens.
Hardship Scholarship
Individuals with limited income or financial hardship may apply for a
reduced rate (student rate).
Phone Laura Spaulding at 502-585-9642 to apply. These rates are
only available to yoga students who have regular class attendance and
demonstrated a commitment to Yoga East programs. Click
here to download an application for a reduced rate. If you are not
able to download the form, phone us at 502-585-9642 to have one mailed
to you.
Veterans Rates
In partnership with YogaforVets.com
Yoga East offers four free yoga classes to war veterans and Gold Star
parents and spouses (son, daughter or spouse killed during active service).
Phone 502-585-9642 for information on how to register.
Students on Disability
Students on Social Security Disability may use the Gentle Yoga rate
for Gentle Yoga classes.
Yoga Class Etiquette
Coming in late or leaving class early is inconsiderate to both the
instructor and other students. Please be on your mat, ready to begin,
at the start time. If you need to register or change clothes,
arrive in enough time to do those things before class begins.
The teacher will not stop class to register you, and all students must
register before entering the practice room. If you must leave
class early for any reason, clear it with the instructor before class
begins. Do not bring chewing gum, food or any drinks other than water
into the practice room. Turn off your cell phone. If you are new
to a class, please take a moment to introduce yourself to the
instructor. We are genuinely interested in you as an individual. We
want to know more about you, your yoga practice and your goals for
yoga.

$22.95.
Private Lessons and
Consultations with Yoga East's President, Laura Spaulding
Students with an Intro Membership, Auto-Debit, 3 or 6 month card or
Annual membership are invited to meet with Laura for consultations.
Before Laura will schedule a private consult, she will want to see
your yoga practice in one of her classes, preferably a morning Mysore
class, which affords the best
opportunity for Laura to see your practice over a period of time. You
can phone Laura at 585-9642 to talk to her. Her office hours are
1:00-4:00 Monday-Thursday. Please do not call on weekends or
evenings. There is no additional fee for private consultations
with Laura.
Private
Lessons with Yoga East Instructors
Private lessons are available with most instructors. Please make
arrangements with your instructor. Instructors set their own fees.
