Experience Louisville for Yourself

Kentucky Unbridled Spirit (TM)Muhammad Ali Center

Louisville, Kentucky is the secret center of the universe. It's a dynamic, creative, growing city on the banks of the Sacred Ohio River in northern Kentucky. Our historic parks which run throughout the city were designed by famed landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted (designer of Central Park in NYC) and a new system of parks is being planned through the ambitious City of Parks initiative.  See: The Riverwalk Louisville has beautiful, historic sections of the city, neighborhood art fairs and a jumping and throbbing downtown with jazz clubs, 4-star restaurants and galleries.

The 16th largest city in the US, Louisville is the home of many attractions including the Kentucky Derby, The Louisville Extreme Park (one of the world's best skateboard parks), The Louisville Slugger Bat Museum, The Muhammad Ali Center, and Actor's Theater. The Kentucky Center for the Arts provides a venue for Broadway productions. Check other great attractions like: Stage One Children's Theater, The Louisville Ballet, The Kentucky Opera, the Louisville Orchestra, Glassworks, FlameRun, Falls of the Ohio Museum (The 386-million-year-old fossil beds are among the largest naturally exposed Devonian fossil beds in the world) and the Speed Art Museum.

Louisville is in the Eastern Time Zone (same as New York City).  It has an international airport with flights from most major cities (code SDF - Standiford Field).
